Job summary

Ledcor Construction, Inc. is seeking a reliable Class 1 Truck Driver / Laborer to join our Fort McMurray team. The role involves operating a bus, water truck, rock truck or haul truck, and performing general labourer duties on a 14 days on / 7 days off, 12-hour day shifts.

Applicants should have a valid Class 1 license, a clean driving record, and 2+ years’ experience with heavy trucks. Camp accommodations and travel allowances are provided, along with comprehensive health benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 driver’s license and a clean driving abstract.
• At least 2 years’ experience operating water trucks, buses, rock trucks or haul trucks.
• Previous experience in heavy civil, industrial or mining environment preferred.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and available for day/night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Drive and transport employees within the mine site using appropriate vehicles.
• Operate water truck as required.
• Operate rock trucks or haul trucks when qualified.
• Perform general labourer duties as needed.
• Work collaboratively with crew members.
• Adhere to Ledcor safety policies and site requirements.

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Class 1 Truck Driver / Laborer to join our team in Fort McMurray.

This is a versatile position that involves operating a bus, water truck, rock truck or haul truck, along with performing general labourer duties.

Essential Responsibilities

• Drive busto transport employees within the mine site
• Operate water truck
• Operate rock trucks or haul truckswhen required and qualified
• Perform general laborer duties
• Work collaboratively with crew members
• Adhere to all Ledcor and project safety policies, procedures, and site requirements

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 driver’s license and a clean driving abstract
• At least 2 years’ experience operating water trucks, buses, rock trucks or haul trucks
• Previous experience working in heavy civil, industrial or mining environment is preferred
• Must be capable of lifting up to 50lbs
• Must be available for day / night shifts
• Successful completion of pre-access drug and alcohol testing
• CSTS09 or Common Safety Orientation (CSO) or OSSA Basic Safety Orientation (BSO)
