Job summary

Ledcor is seeking a reliable Class 1 Truck Driver / Labourer to join the Fort McMurray team. The role involves transporting employees on site, operating water and haul trucks, and performing general labour duties in a mining-related setting.

The position requires a valid Class 1 license, 2+ years of relevant truck operating experience, and compliance with safety and drug/alcohol testing policies. Camp accommodations and travel arrangements are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years operating water trucks, buses, rock trucks or haul trucks.
• Experience in heavy civil, industrial or mining environments preferred.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Must be available for day and night shifts.
• Successful completion of pre-access drug and alcohol testing.
• CSTS09 / CSO / OSSA BSO certification required or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Drive a bus to transport employees within the mine site.
• Operate water truck.
• Operate rock/haul trucks when required and qualified.

Description

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Class 1 Truck Driver / Labourer to join our team in Fort McMurray.

Essential Responsibilities

• Drive bus to transport employees within the mine site
• Operate water truck
• Operate rock trucks or haul trucks when required and qualified
• Perform general labourer duties
• Work collaboratively with crew members
• Adhere to all Ledcor and project safety policies, procedures, and site requirements

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 driver's license and a clean driving abstract
• At least 2 years' experience operating water trucks, buses, rock trucks or haul trucks
• Previous experience working in heavy civil, industrial or mining environment is preferred
• Must be capable of lifting up to 50lbs
• Must be available for day / night shifts
• Successful completion of pre-access drug and alcohol testing
• CSTS09 or Common Safety Orientation (CSO) or OSSA Basic Safety Orientation (BSO)

Work Conditions

• Project based position working 14 days on and 7 days off, working 12 hours per day
