Redpath Mining seeks a Bolter for our operations in Red Lake, Northwestern Ontario. You will inspect underground headings, scale loose rocks, and install ground support to stabilize rock masses and ensure safe conditions.
You will operate hand-held pneumatic drills, LHDs, scissor trucks, and bolting equipment, following WHMIS rules and mine regulations. A 14/14 rotation with 12-hour shifts is required.
Location: Red Lake (Northwestern Ontario), Canada
Rotation: 14 days on, 14 days off
Shift Length: 12 hours
Salary Range: $118,000 - $168,000/annum, range is variable and dependent on overtime worked and production bonus paid
Travel: Commercial flight from airport closest to point of hire

The primary role of a Bolter is to inspect existing underground headings, scale loose rocks and install ground support to stabilize rock mass and ensure safety. The tasks may involve the operation of scaling bars, pneumatic hand-held drills, use of rubber-tired underground mobile equipment such as LHD (Load-Haul-Dump) units, scissor trucks, scoop or other support vehicles in a confined environment.
