Redpath is seeking a skilled bolter for underground headings in Northwestern Ontario. You will inspect headings, bolt rock and install ground support to maintain stability and safety. The role uses jackleg and stoper drills and involves operating underground equipment in confined spaces.
The job requires at least 3 years of bolting experience, Ontario Core qualifications, and a strong commitment to safety. Camp accommodations are provided, with comprehensive benefits and a 14/14 rotation

Rotation: 14 days on, 14 days off
Shift Length: 12 hours
Salary Range: $118,000 - $168,000/annum, range is variable and dependent on overtime worked and production bonus paid
Travel: Commercial flight from airport closest to point of hire

The primary role of a Bolter is to inspect existing underground headings, scale loose rocks and install ground support to stabilize rock mass and ensure safety. The tasks may involve the operation of scaling bars, pneumatic hand-held drills, use of rubber-tired underground mobile equipment such as LHD (Load-Haul-Dump) units, scissor trucks, scoop or other support vehicles in a confined environment.
