Job summary

Barr Engineering Co. is seeking a senior water resources consultant focused on mine water management to serve as the mine water practice lead. In this hybrid role, you will provide project management and technical support to Barr’s mining clients.

Key responsibilities include leading technical analyses, mentoring junior staff, and advising clients on mine water management strategies. The successful candidate will have 10+ years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field.

The position offers an annual salary range of $140,000–$180,000, plus performance-based cash bonuses.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience including developing water balance models.
• Experience advising clients on mine water management strategies.
• Current driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical analyses related to water balance modelling.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and engineering studies.
• Mentor junior staff through project work.
