Job summary

GHD is seeking a Mine Water Management Technical Lead to join the Ontario Integrated Water Management Group and lead mine water projects from concept to delivery. The role emphasizes client service, project leadership, and strategic planning within a hybrid work model in Canada.

The candidate will apply deep water industry knowledge to develop sustainable, climate-resilient water solutions, with expertise in water resources, hydraulics, & stormwater management. Ontario P.Eng.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Civil Engineer in Ontario.
• Minimum 15+ years’ civil/public works experience with municipal, provincial and Federal clients.
• Seller-doer mindset and client service focus.
• Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee mine water projects from concept to delivery.
• Manage budgets, schedules and client communications for multi-disciplinary teams.
• Develop technical solutions for water balance, water quality, erosion and flood mitigation.
• Guide modeling and technical analyses; ensure quality and compliance.
