Rainy River Situated in beautiful northwestern Ontario, 65 km northwest of Fort Frances, the Rainy River mine is an open pit and underground, gold and silver producing, residential mine site. The Rainy River mine, located adjacent to the Ontario/Minnesota border is 65 kilometers northwest of Fort Frances, Ontario and is situated half way between Winnipeg, Manitoba and Thunder Bay, Ontario The area is home to more than 130 species of birds and large populations of moose, black bear and deer. Position: Mine Utility Operator
Schedule: Shift 7/7 – 12-hour days and nights
Position Reports To: Mine Utility Supervisor
We are currently seeking a dedicated and hard working individual to join our team as a Utility Operator. The role of the Utility Operator is to support the Mine Operations team through various activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring proper protocols are followed with various tasks within the Utility team and ensuring a safe work environment. This is an entry level position, no prior experience is needed. The successful applicant will recieve on the job training to aquire the necessary skills and knowledge required for the position. We are looking for an applicant who will have great attendance, positive work attitude and willingness to learn.
*Preference will be given to local residents of the Rainy River District. Camp & travel accommodations are not provided.
The anticipated salary for this position will be between $58,000 to 61,000.
