Job summary

Sandvik is hiring a Warehouse Technician to support warehouse operations at mine sites in British Columbia. You will receive, store, track and ship materials, enabling site teams to operate smoothly.

A two-weeks-on/two-weeks-off rotation provides on-site exposure with two full weeks off between rotations. Requirements include a high school diploma, 1+ year warehouse experience, forklift operation, and experience with computerized inventory systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year warehouse or inventory experience.
• Forklift operation experience required.
• Experience using computerized inventory management systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with good time management and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's licence in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and audit incoming materials to ensure inventory records are accurate.
• Coordinate safe storage and timely shipment of materials.
• Prepare shipping and receiving schedules to keep goods moving and organized.
• Help maintain operating procedures, space utilization, facilities and equipment.
• Process sales orders and invoices accurately.
• Update and maintain warehouse location and inventory systems.
• Support customer on-call services as required.
• Take on other duties that support safe and efficient warehouse operations.
