Dhilmar is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Supervisor to lead a skilled mobile maintenance team at the Eleonore mine site. You will set priorities, manage the schedule, and ensure safety and reliability of equipment through hands-on leadership.

You will oversee daily operations, provide technical guidance, and coordinate with operations and leadership to align on priorities, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives. Fluency in French/English is an asset.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or DEC/technical diploma with hands-on experience.
• FMTM certification.
• 10+ years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role within mobile equipment maintenance.
• Experience with SAP or CMMS and KPIs.
• Bilingual French and English is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the mobile maintenance team with clear priorities and daily leadership.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely and in compliance with site policies and regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections of work areas and maintenance shop for safety and organization.
• Review, coordinate, and execute the maintenance schedule including backlog management.
• Optimize manpower, contractors, tools, and parts to maximize productive time.
• Perform quality control inspections to verify workmanship and standards.
• Review SAP work orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Provide detailed shift handover reports with key information.
• Collaborate with leadership and operations on priorities and troubleshooting.
• Respond promptly to equipment issues and escalate when required.
• Maintain field presence and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, safety, workflow optimization, and team engagement.

About the role

As a Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, you will be a key frontline leader responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of mobile maintenance activities. You will lead a skilled team, allocate resources effectively, and maintain strong operational discipline to ensure equipment reliability.

Essential Duties

• Lead the mobile maintenance team by setting clear priorities, delegating tasks, and providing daily leadership and technical guidance.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely and in compliance with site policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections of work areas, outdoor work sites, and the maintenance shop to maintain high standards of housekeeping, organization, and safety.
• Review, coordinate, and execute the maintenance schedule, including planned work, corrective tasks, and backlog management.
• Optimize the use of manpower, contractors, tools, and parts to maximize productive time and overall maintenance efficiency.
• Perform quality control inspections throughout the shift to verify workmanship and ensure compliance with maintenance standards.
• Review SAP work orders for accuracy, clarity, and completeness before and after execution.
• Provide detailed and accurate shift handover reports, including major component changes, outstanding issues, and key operational information.
• Work closely with the leadership team and operations team to align on technical priorities, equipment strategies, and troubleshooting needs.
• Support operations by responding promptly to equipment-related issues and escalating concerns when required.
• Maintain a strong field presence by remaining visible and accessible to the maintenance team throughout the shift.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, safety, workflow optimization, and team engagement.

Training & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or College Diploma (DEC) in Mechanical Engineering, or a technical diploma combined with significant hands-on experience.
• FMTM certification.
• 10+ years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role within mobile equipment maintenance.
• Experience in both surface and underground mobile equipment maintenance is considered an asset.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with SAP or another CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is considered an asset.
• Experience with fleet management systems and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Bilingualism (French and English) is considered an asset.

• Eleonore mine site (fly-in, fly-out from Montreal, Chibougamau, Matagami, Rouyn-Noranda, Val D'Or and Wemindji)
• Schedule: 14 working days followed by 14 days off
