Job summary

Elk Valley Resources (EVR), part of the Glencore Group, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead mine shop and pit maintenance on a 4x4 rotating schedule. You will oversee trades, scheduling, continuous improvement, and staffing to uphold company standards.

The role requires strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills, with five years of mining maintenance experience, trade certification, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Trade certification or equivalent required.
• 5+ years mining/industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience supervising or leading a team.
• Strong digital literacy and proficiency with Office.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Participate in health and safety programs.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures to find root cause.
• Oversee maintenance and repair to improve availability.
• Manage daily/weekly work schedules to meet deadlines and budget.
• Supervise contractors and employees; conduct performance evaluations.
• Follow up on current jobs and assist tradespeople with troubleshooting.
• Assist with schedule development.
• Source and requisition maintenance supplies within budget.
