Job summary

EVR, part of the Glencore Group, is seeking a Planner, Maintenance in the Elk Valley, BC. Reporting to the Supervisor, Maintenance Planning, you will develop detailed work plans aligned with maintenance strategies to improve efficiency and asset reliability.

You will collaborate with a diverse team, apply state-of-the-art maintenance practices, and participate in budgeting, forecasting, and KPI tracking while promoting safe, sustainable operations in a stunning mountain setting.

Qualifications

• Strong digital literacy; proficient with CMMS and Microsoft Office.
• 5–7 years post-graduation experience in facility maintenance planning/scheduling or supervision in heavy-industrial environments (mining or process plant).
• Trade certification, technical diploma, or degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed work plans aligned with maintenance strategies and mine requirements to improve efficiency and performance.
• Collaborate with maintenance team and other departments; grow knowledge across operation areas.
• Maintain accurate forecasts, support monthly cost forecasting, annual budgeting, and cost analysis.
• Track KPIs and drive continuous improvement; assist with commissioning/decommissioning of equipment.
