Job summary

Centerra Gold is seeking a Technician, Lab Assay at the Mount Milligan Mine in a camp-based 7x7 12-hour day/night rotation. The role supports mine and mill operations through safe, accurate sample preparation and analysis, ensuring QA/QC compliance and timely data reporting.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 4–5 years lab experience, and familiarity with analytical techniques like AAS, ICP-OES, LECO, XRF. Camp accommodations provided with travel included.

Responsibilities

• Prepare mine, mill, and metallurgical samples for analysis, including sample receiving, logging, drying, crushing, splitting, pulverizing, and truck sample collection.
• Conduct routine laboratory analyses in accordance with established analytical methods and QA/QC protocols.
• Accurately record, verify, and report analytical data within required turnaround times.
• Assist in identifying, reporting, and responding to hazards, incidents, and near misses in accordance with site reporting procedures.
