Job summary

Trans-United Consultants Ltd. is seeking a skilled Licensed Red Seal Millwright in Whitby, Canada. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical production machinery, along with expertise in using shop equipment such as welders and lathes.   • Responsible for accurate troubleshooting, modifying production equipment, and fabrication.
  • Complete preventative maintenance task list as assigned.

Licensed Red Seal Millwright - Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a maintenance millwright.
  • Licensed Red Seal Millwright with capability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical production machinery.
  • Experience with injection mold presses.
  • Must demonstrate capability to effectively use shop equipment for fabrications (e.g., welder, lathe, mill, drill press).
  • Must be able to stand, walk, crouch, stretch, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to understand work order requirements.
  • Must be able to keep up to fast paced activities.
Duties / Responsibilities
  • Two options: 1. Day Shift or 2. Afternoon Shift.
  • Review all equipment ensuring all safety devices are in place and in excellent working condition.
  • Responsible for accurate troubleshooting, modifying production equipment and fabrication.
  • Responsible for all maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic systems on production equipment.
  • Ensure correct installation, assembly, positioning, and mechanical set-up of all new equipment.
  • Complete preventative maintenance task list as assigned.
