Job summary

Elevate is seeking a skilled Industrial Millwright to join our team in Windsor, Ontario. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and repairing machinery to ensure smooth operations. You will also conduct preventative maintenance and handle electrical system installations.

The ideal candidate will possess a Red Seal certification or be a 4th year apprentice, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in industrial maintenance. Competitive wages between $39 and $50 per hour are offered based on experience.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Industrial Millwright - 433A certification or 4th year apprentice.
• 2 years of manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience required.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is a must.

Job description

Location: Windsor, ON

Shift: Monday – Friday / 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Wage: $39-$50/HR - depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Promptly install, inspect, replace, and repair machinery to ensure smooth operations
• Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment, including minor electrical repairs and welding tasks
• Retrieve parts as needed using the maintenance van (personal vehicle may be used; mileage reimbursed)
• Adhere to maintenance schedules and suggest improvements to optimize cost, quality, and service; report any irregularities to the supervisor
• Read and interpret technical drawings and electrical code specifications for industrial equipment installation
• Install, inspect, replace, and repair electrical wiring, receptacles, conduits, switch boxes, feeders, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components
• Maintain, repair, test, and install electrical motors, as well as hydraulic and pneumatic control systems
• Consistently follow proper lockout/tag-out procedures to ensure safe operation of all machinery
