Job summary

FLINT is seeking skilled trades to support a Pulp Mill turnaround in Peace River, Alberta, from September 8–16, 2026. The role requires in-person attendance with a continuous schedule at the site, offering LOA of $170 per day for non-locals.

Ideal candidates hold a valid Journeyperson or Apprentice Trade certificate with 4+ years industrial experience, strong English communication, and the ability to work 8 hours plus overtime in demanding conditions.

Qualifications

  • Valid Journeyperson or Apprentice Trade certificate.
  • Minimum 4 years of industrial experience preferred.
  • Meet minimum safety ticket requirements: WHMIS.
  • No virtual option – in-person attendance required for Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry and Aerial Work Platform.
  • Welders must provide CWB and B-Pressure tickets.
  • Physically capable of demanding job tasks in varying conditions.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
  • Must have own reliable transportation to the site.
  • Valid driver's license with under 6 demerits.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, repair, installation, and turnaround activities on mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and process equipment to support safe and reliable mill operations.
  • Continuous Schedule.
  • 8-hour regular time and 2-hour overtime workdays.
  • Mobilization/Demobilization provided for up to 12 hours of travel each way.
  • LOA for non-locals: $170 per day.
