Job summary

Canam Group Inc. in Mississauga is seeking a skilled Millwright (433A) to maintain, troubleshoot, repair and optimize plant facilities, cranes, and equipment. You will help minimize downtime and drive safety and continuous improvement.

The role requires an active 433A license, experience with overhead cranes, reading mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics, MIG/ARC welding, and lean manufacturing exposure. Afternoon shift 4:00 pm–12:30 am; overtime available.

Qualifications

• Active 433A license required.
• Overhead crane experience preferred.
• Read mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
• MIG/ARC welding proficiency required.
• Hands-on experience with shop tools and equipment.
• LOTO procedures and safety experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and cranes.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns rapidly.
• Assemble and install new machinery and components.
• Diagnose hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid power issues from schematics.
• Maintain 5S and safety compliance; track maintenance logs.
