Qualifications

• Must have Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Endorsement.
• Must hold Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification and Construction Millwright Certification.
• Registered 2nd/3rd/4th Apprenticeship certificates or equivalent.
• Excellent reading of blueprints, maps, specs, and be able to interpret them.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace defective machinery parts.
• Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions.
• Install machinery and equipment.
• Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery.
• Operate machining tools to fabricate parts.
• Program programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
• Work in service, repair, maintenance, overhaul, and machine setup areas.
