Job summary

Multimatic in Vaughan is seeking a certified Millwright to join our maintenance team. You will repair and maintain pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems, interpreting blueprints to guide procedures.

The role includes electrical troubleshooting, PLC support, and operating machine tools to fabricate parts while contributing to continuous improvement and adhering to TS16949 and ISO14001 standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a millwright or industrial mechanic.
• Hold a valid 433A license.
• Licensed Millwright or Industrial Mechanic or equivalent.
• Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Welding experience (MIG/TIG) is an asset.
• Electrical troubleshooting capabilities required.

Responsibilities

• Perform millwright repairs and troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Interpret blueprints and diagrams to plan procedures.
• Provide electrical troubleshooting and PLC support as needed.
• Operate lathes and grinders to fabricata parts.
• Complete work orders, time sheets, and logbook entries.
• Contribute to preventive maintenance and downtime reduction.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Adhere to TS16949 and ISO14001 standards.
