Cascades is seeking a certified Millwright for a full-time role in Mississauga. You will troubleshoot and repair critical production equipment, perform preventive maintenance on hydraulic systems and pumps, and use CMMS to manage work orders and updates.

Formación

• Certified Millwright with 433A or Red Seal
• 2+ years in heavy industrial manufacturing preferred
• Proven troubleshooting and maintenance skills within a safety-focused environment

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve equipment failures and perform periodic inspections
• Execute preventive maintenance on production equipment, hydraulic systems and pumps
• Use Root Cause Analysis to improve OEE and reliability
• Process work orders and updates in CMMS
• Install, examine, replace and repair machines promptly
• Perform preventive maintenance, light electrical, welding and lubrication tasks
• Follow lockout/tagout and complete pre-risk assessments
• Support health, safety, productivity and 5S initiatives

What you’ll do

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve equipment failures and perform periodic inspections of equipment and systems
• Execute preventive maintenance activities, repairs, and troubleshooting on production equipment, hydraulic systems, and pumps
• Utilize Root Cause Analysis and continuous improvement practices to maximize equipment OEE and process reliability
• Use the CMMS system to process work orders, preventive maintenance activities, and equipment updates
• Install, examine, replace, and repair machines in a timely manner
• Perform preventive maintenance, minor electrical repairs, welding, and lubrication activities as required
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and complete pre-risk assessments before non-routine tasks
• Support health and safety, productivity, quality, waste reduction, and 5S initiatives

Your strengths as an Industrial Millwright:

• Industrial Millwright Mechanic 433A Certificate of Qualification or Interprovincial Red Seal endorsement (RSE)
• Certificate of Apprenticeship
• Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CMMS systems
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and a strong commitment to safe work practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
