Job summary

MAHLE in Tilbury, Ontario is seeking a skilled Millwright to join our maintenance team on rotating shifts (2 weeks on 1st, 2 weeks on 2nd, or 3rd) with overtime. You will perform repairs on production equipment, tooling, and building facilities, following work orders and logging progress in our computer system.

You will use lifting devices, collaborate with engineering on upgrades, contribute to continuous improvement, maintain clean work areas, and create computer work orders for all tasks.

Qualifications

• Skilled Trades certificate required.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Strong background in Preventative Maintenance.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge of welding, fabricating, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Electrical skills necessary.
• Good attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Day to day repairs on production, tooling, equipment, and building facilities from work orders, including project work.
• Usage of various lifting devices.
• Conducts preventative maintenance on equipment and logs progress in computer system.
• Works with engineering staff on upgrades to equipment and timing and materials.
• General housekeeping of benches and responsible work area including plant and equipment.
• Partakes in Continuous Improvement Team for the area.
• Training new employees by sharing equipment knowledge.
• Create and log computer work orders for all work performed.
