Armtec Inc. in Guelph, Ontario is seeking a Regional Maintenance Technician to keep our manufacturing operations safe, reliable and efficient.

This hands-on role supports preventative and corrective maintenance across facilities, ensuring minimal downtime and improved equipment performance. The ideal candidate holds an Industrial Millwright 433a or Industrial Mechanic certification with manufacturing maintenance experience, and strong electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic

Qualifications

• Industrial Millwright 433a or Industrial Mechanic certification.
• Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Electrical troubleshooting knowledge with industrial equipment and controls.
• Welding and fabrication experience is an asset.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and commitment to safety.
• Ability to travel within Canada.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical issues on production and facility equipment.
• Diagnose and repair variety of tools, equipment and machinery.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs and equipment adjustments.
• Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic drawings and schematics.
• Identify equipment performance issues and recommend improvements for reliability and uptime.
• Complete temporary and permanent repairs to minimize production interruptions and downtime.
• Perform welding and fabrication work related to production equipment and maintenance activities.
• Communicate equipment conditions and repair requirements to management.
• Follow health and safety policies and applicable legislative requirements.

Armtec has an exciting career opportunity for a RegionalMaintenance Technician based out of our facility in Guelph, Ontario.

REGIONAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Regional Maintenance Technician plays a key role in keeping our manufacturing operations running safely, reliably and efficiently.

This is a hands‑on, maintenance position ideal for an experienced industrial maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting, solving problems and working across a variety of equipment and facilities. You will support preventative and corrective maintenance activities throughout our operations, helping minimize downtime and improve equipment performance.

What You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical issues on production and facility equipment.
• Diagnose and repair a variety of tools, equipment and machinery.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs and equipment adjustments.
• Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic drawings and schematics.
• Identify equipment performance issues and recommend opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency and uptime.
• Complete temporary and permanent repairs to minimize production interruptions and equipment downtime.

What You Bring

• Industrial Millwright 433a or Industrial Mechanic certification.
• Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong hands‑on experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Practical electrical troubleshooting knowledge and the ability to work with industrial equipment and controls.
• Welding and fabrication experience is an asset.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and an interest in continuing to develop both mechanical and electrical skills.
• Reliable, organized and attentive to detail, with a commitment to completing work safely and to a high standard.
• Ability to travel within Canada
