Reporting to the Mill Maintenance Supervisor, Millwrights are tasked with the repair and maintenance of on-site structures and equipment.

Responsibilities

1. Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures.
2. Perform preventative maintenance, machinery installation, and machine repair.
3. Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, or millwright process specifications.
4. Operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
5. Troubleshoot production problems and take preventative or corrective action.
6. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

1. Possess an Interprovincial Journeyperson Millwright red seal trade qualification.
2. Industrial experience is an asset.
3. Strong interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Willingness to work shift work.
6. High School Diploma or equivalent.
7. Valid driver’s license.
