Viacore in Timmins, ON is seeking a Journeyman or 4th year Millwright to join our Services Team. You will read blueprints, calibrate instruments, diagnose faults, and install control systems on plant equipment.

The role requires travel, willingness to work overtime, and the ability to work with minimal direction; we offer competitive compensation and benefits, with 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts and on-call overtime.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current and valid driver’s license.
• 433A Industrial Millwright Certificate or related trade experience.
• Basic experience with rigging equipment.
• Must be able to work with minimal direction.
• Willingness to travel.
• Willingness and ability to work overtime and/or irregular hours.
• Willingness and ability to work in remote locations.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Calibrate and operate precision measuring instruments and tools to diagnose faults and troubleshoot.
• Calibrate components and instruments according to manufacturers' specifications.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work and complete test and maintenance reports.
• Install control and measurement instruments on existing and new plant equipment and processes.
• Consult with and advise process operators.

Job Summary

Our Timmins, ON branch is currently seeking a Journeyman or 4th year Millwright to join our Services Team. We’re looking for knowledgeable, experienced, and highly motivated individuals who have great work ethic and enjoy working in a team-focused environment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
• Calibrate and Operate precision measuring instruments and tools to diagnose faults and troubleshoot
• Calibrate components and instruments according to manufacturers' specifications
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work and complete test and maintenance reports
• Install control and measurement instruments on existing and new plant equipment and processes
• Consult with and advise process operators.

Job Requirements

• Must possess a 433A Industrial Millwright Mechanic Certificate of Qualification or related trade experience.
• Basic experience with rigging equipment
