Primoris Canada is seeking a Journeyman Millwright for Fort McMurray projects. You will install, maintain and repair stationary industrial machinery, often outdoors, with a 7-on/7-off shift. Camp accommodation is available and the hourly rate is $53.56, exclusive of employer contributions.

The role requires reading diagrams and schematics, rigging, assembling gear and bearing assemblies, and servicing hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Pre-employment testing is required.

Qualifications

• Registered Millwright journeyman with valid status.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work well in a team.
• Pre-employment alcohol and drug testing is a condition of employment.

Responsabilités

• Comply with Company and Client Safety rules, OH&S standards.
• Read diagrams, blueprints, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Operate rigging equipment and dollies to place heavy machinery or parts.
• Fit bearings, align gears and shafts, attach motors, and connect couplings and belts to precise tolerances.
• Service and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Attend required safety and tailgate/toolbox meetings.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

SUMMARY

The Millwright is involved in the installation, maintenance, and repair of stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. This work may exist indoors or outdoors and may be physically demanding.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Registered Millwright journeyman
• Previous Site experience is an asset
• Previous industrial experience considered an asset
• CSO Regional ticket
• Must be physically able to lift 50lbs
• Able to work well in a team environment
• Organized and self-motivated
• Pre-employment alcohol and drug testing is a condition of employment
