An established industry player is seeking an Industrial Mechanic Millwright to join their maintenance team. Reporting to the Maintenance Leader, the Industrial Mechanic Millwright performs tasks related to the proper functioning and repair of equipment for mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic aspects, works in collaboration with the majority of departments and provides technical support to the production experts while following the rules of occupational health and safety.
They can develop some tools by themselves or be a part of bigger projects. They offer solutions to fix the problems or failures on the process and makes themselves a pillar of the maintenance team and the lead spirit. Their skills and understanding of the production and automated equipment push them to continuously improve on production and industrial systems.
As the plant comes into operation around June 2025, the candidates will need to travel to Sherbrooke Quebec for two weeks at a time until Spring 2025 (approximately 2-3 trips). There is a $2,500 bonus after all training in Quebec is completed and Per Diem available while away in Quebec.
