Job summary

Magna Exteriors is seeking a skilled Millwright for immediate opening in Vaughan, Ontario. The role focuses on maintaining presses, rolling mills, moulding machines, and other production equipment, with responsibilities including lubrication, repairs, and preventive maintenance to ensure continuous operations.

Candidates must have a Millwright certificate or college/technical school training, or five years related experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a Millwright certificate.
• College or technical school certificate or five years related experience.
• Able to read blueprints and schematic drawings.
• Excellent knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical processes.
• Physically fit to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to interpret written, oral, diagram or schedule instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain presses, rolling mills, moulding machines and other production equipment.
• Perform repairs and lubrication of machines and equipment.
• Dismantle machines and move equipment as required.
• Assemble and install drive shafts, conveyors and related components.
• Weld, rivet, bolt or fasten components to foundations or structures.
• Operate tool room equipment and work overtime as needed.
