Schaeffler Aerospace Canada Inc. is actively expanding its maintenance team. We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to perform routine upkeep on heavy equipment and read drawings to diagnose issues, while working to strict deadlines in a dynamic plant environment.

The role emphasizes unsupervised work quality, safety, and opportunities to pursue a Millwright License (433A) as you advance within the company. Competitive wages and benefits support long-term growth and stability.

Qualifications

• Education: Grade 12 diploma.
• Experience: demonstrated competency across cell/department operations and high mechanical aptitude.
• Pursuing or planning to pursue Millwright License (433A).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on industrial machinery.
• Read drawings and communicate problems to Journeyman Millwright.
• Work unsupervised to a high standard and to deadlines.
• Troubleshoot machine irregularities and breakdowns.
• Identify and repair/replace defective machine parts and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on industrial equipment as scheduled.

• Competitive wages –starting rate: $26.81; top rate: $35.86per hour + shift premiums);
• Graduation to full-time, permanent upon licensing to Industrial Maintenance Mechanic;

Your Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance work on industrial machinery.

Read drawings and communicate problems to Journeyman Millwright

Your Qualifications

Education: Grade 12 diploma

Experience: Demonstrated competency all facets of cell/department operations and high level of mechanical aptitude and/or hold certification in skills related to associated discipline.

Skills: Knowledge of Schaeffler production and quality systems. Ability to work unsupervised to a high standard and to deadlines. Troubleshoot machine irregularities and breakdowns.
