We are seeking a mechanically skilled and dedicated individual with a passion for the Ride Attractions industry to join as a Tradesperson II - Millwright, working under the Maintenance & Facilities Manager. The role involves operating vehicles and tools in compliance with safety standards, with training provided as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Rebuild and repair rides & attractions as specified
  • Perform ride inspections and maintain service records
  • Recommend improvements and report findings
  • Assist with overhauls, modifications, and safety discussions
  • Ensure safe operation of work areas and equipment
  • Lead safety meetings and complete required training
  • Provide guidance to junior technicians
  • Assist with cleaning, inspection, and equipment reassembly
  • Participate in preventative maintenance and install new equipment
  • Operate mobile equipment safely
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
  • Grade 12 completion
  • Post-secondary training in trades or equivalent experience
  • Mechanic or Millwright license preferred
  • Valid BC Class 5 driver’s license with abstract
  • Designated High Angle Rescue team member
  • NARSO / AIMS license (post-training)
  • Experience in diverse industrial environments
  • Strong mechanical and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and outdoors in all weather
  • Problem-solving and teamwork skills
  • Ownership of tools and safety gear
  • Welding and hydraulics experience assets
  • First Aid Level II (asset)
  • Physical ability to handle weights up to 23kg, heights, and perform physical tasks
  • Criminal Record Check required
