Position Title: Millwright

Rosenort, MB – Westfield is North America's leading manufacturer of portable grain augers, established in 1950. We produce a wide range of grain augers and bin unloading equipment. We seek talented employees to continue our success.

The Opportunity

This role focuses on manufacturing and welding quality auger parts safely and efficiently, requiring MIG welding experience.

The Team

Our team includes welders, laborers, machine operators, painters, and more. As a welder, you will work with your supervisor and peers to produce quality augers.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and test custom machinery and tooling to improve production or facilitate new products.
• Assemble, install, and test machines to ensure proper operation.
• Assist with layout and placement of equipment to minimize downtime.
• Support maintenance by identifying and repairing machine issues, running tests, and installing parts.
• Use machinery such as forklifts to move parts.
• Comply with safety regulations.
• Follow AGI’s Code of Business Ethics and compliance policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Millwright certification is an asset.
• Ability to work well with others, including engineers, managers, and vendors.
• Knowledge of mechanical skills and ability to read specifications, manuals, and blueprints.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
