Job summary

Weir ESCO in Port Hope, ON, is seeking an Industrial Millwright - Red Seal for a 3-shift rotation (days/afternoon/Nights) to support a global engineering organization. Starting rate is $46.68 per hour, with rate of $48.55 in February 2027.

The role requires hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and installation of stationary machinery, working safely with zero-harm commitments. The successful candidate will bring 433A certification, welding experience is an asset,

Qualifications

• 433A license required.
• Welding experience is an asset.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting: Experience with hydraulic systems (pumps, filters, cylinders)
• Experience with pneumatic systems (2 or 3 way valves, pneumatic conveyors)
• Knowledge of cooling towers, water pumps, slurry pumps an asset
• Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment for continuous improvement of all machines
• Installing stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools
• Ensuring operating safety devices function properly on completion of repairs, modifications and installations
• Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
• First Aid, Fork Lift, Working at Heights, Confined Space, Harness training/ certification provided
