Job summary

Weir ESCO Port Hope is seeking an Industrial Millwright in Port Hope, ON. The role requires Red Seal and experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, with a focus on preventative maintenance and installation of stationary industrial machinery.

The position offers a 3-shift rotation and a starting rate around CAD 46.68/hr, with benefits and safety training. The successful candidate will work in a global organization focused on efficiency and safety, contributing to continuous improvement and

Qualifications

  • 433A license is required.
  • Welding experience is an asset.
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting experience with hydraulic systems (pumps, filters, cylinders).
  • Experience with pneumatic systems (2 or 3 way valves, pneumatic conveyors).
  • Knowledge of cooling towers, water pumps, slurry pumps is an asset.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment for continuous improvement of all machines.
  • Installing stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools.
  • Ensuring operating safety devices function properly on completion of repairs, modifications and installations.
  • Safety First: 100% commitment to zero harm behaviors and safety culture.
  • First Aid, Fork Lift, Working at Heights, Confined Space, Harness training/certification provided.

Industrial Millwright - Red Seal Weir ESCO Port Hope, ON

3 Shift Rotation every 2 weeks - Days/Afternoon/Nights

New Starting Rate: $46.68/hr ($48.55 in February 2027)

Key Responsibilities
