Job summary

Weyerhaeuser's Kenora Timberstrand Plant in Kenora, Ontario is seeking a permanent full-time Journeyman Millwright to join our 24/7 manufacturing operation. You will maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical equipment to support safe, reliable plant operations.

• Mechanical trades qualification in applicable discipline.
• Proven analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule that includes days and nights.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of hydraulic systems and components.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of mechanical equipment issues.
• Perform routine maintenance work on machinery.
• Use SAP for materials management and work order management.
• Perform basic welding and fabrication.
• Coordinate contractor activities as required.
• Keep work areas and equipment in a safe, clean, and orderly condition.
• Perform duties and operate equipment in a safe and satisfactory manner.
• Complete assigned work in a timely manner.

About The Role
