Job summary

Darling International Canada Inc. is seeking a skilled Millwright to install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery at our Ontario facility. You will work closely with maintenance and engineering teams to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

The role requires a 433A Millwright ticket and hands-on experience with conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, and boiler systems is a plus. Competitive hourly wage with shift premiums and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Certified Millwright 433A ticket is required.
• Experience with screw conveyors, belt conveyors, hydraulic systems, pneumatics, pumps, and machinery rebuilds.
• Understanding of electrical components is an asset.
• Experience with boiler systems would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Install, dismantle, and assemble machinery and equipment according to plans.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues and implement solutions.
• Align and calibrate machinery using precision tools.
• Fabricate required parts for installation.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Collaborate with engineers, electricians, and team members to optimize performance.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Work independently when required and as part of the team.
• Other duties as required.

Position Summary

This role will be reporting into the Maintenance Supervisor. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that all machinery operates smoothly and efficiently, minimizing downtime and increasing productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery to ensure optimal performance
• Install, dismantle, and assemble machinery and equipment according to plans and

Experience/Qualifications
