Job summary

Manpower Canada in Newmarket, ON is seeking a LICENSED MILLWRIGHT to join our automotive manufacturing client’s team. The role covers maintenance and repair of production and automation equipment across electrical, mechanical, pneumatics and hydraulics, with a focus on preventive maintenance.

Shifts are DAYS with plenty of OT and shift premiums; benefits, pension, profit sharing and vacation are offered. Welding is required (MIG, TIG and stick).

Qualifications

• Licensed millwright with automotive manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair, replacement and maintenance on production and automation equipment across electrical, mechanical, pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Conduct preventative maintenance functions.
• Troubleshoot and repair conveyor systems.

The Role:

• perform repair/replacement/maintenance on production and automation equipment within electrical, mechanical, pneumatics and hydraulics
• preventative maintenance functions
• troubleshoot and repair conveyor systems

Your Bring:

• Millwright license
• automotive manufacturing experience
• 5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience is preferred
• strong electro-mechanical abilities with pneumatics, hydraulics and conveyors
• welding: MIG, TIG and stic
