Job summary

Discovery Kidd Operations has an exciting opportunity for a Mill Operator. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the successful candidate will operate crushers, manage de-watering processes, oversee tailings management rounds, and perform other mill-related duties as assigned at Kidd Creek Met Site.

The role requires the ability to work rotating shifts, outdoors in all seasons, with physical tasks such as lifting heavy material and climbing ladders.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work rotational shifts as required.
• Physically fit with potential to complete a Physical Demands Analysis.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons and performing physically demanding tasks.
• Have passed CAAT/DAT testing.
• Must possess a valid G driver’s license or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate crushers as part of mill operations.
• Manage de-watering processes.
• Oversee tailings management rounds.
• Perform other mill-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
