Job summary

Equinox Gold Corp. in Geraldton, Ontario, is seeking a Mill Maintenance Tool Crib Attendant to manage tool crib inventory and distribute supplies to the Mill Maintenance Team.

You will issue tools, track returns, identify broken equipment, arrange repairs, and keep the tool room organized while supporting safety and efficiency on site.

• Basic to intermediate mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with parts manuals and identifying components and parts is an asset.
• Mine site experience is an asset.

Job Title: Mill Maintenance Tool Crib Attendant

Job Summary

We are seeking a Mill Maintenance Tool Crib Attendant to join our team. Reporting to the Mill Maintenance Supervisors, the Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for maintaining the Tool Crib inventory and distributing supplies to the Mill Maintenance Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Issue tools as required.
• Maintain an accurate record of tools being taken and returned.
• Identify broken tools and repair them or arrange for repairs.
• Replace missing tools.
• Return parts and tooling in their proper locations.
• Ensure tool crib and parts room is clean and organized.
• Maintain an adequate quantity of shop consumables regularly used by the maintenance team.
• Inspect and maintain rigging and other safety equipment used by the maintenance team.

Required Experience and Skill Set

• Basic to intermediate mechanical aptitude is highly desirable for this role.
• Experience with parts manuals and identifying components and parts is an asset.
• Prior experience in an industrial setting — mine site experience is an asset.
• Experience with parts manuals and identifying components and parts to repair and replace tools is an asset but not necessary.
