Sunrise Exhaust Ltd. is seeking a skilled welder/fabricator to join our on-site team. You will read blueprints, inspect welds, and operate welding and metalworking equipment to fabricate or repair parts. The role involves setting up and monitoring robotic welding lines and using CNC machines.

Qualifications include a secondary school certificate and experience with MIG welding. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads while maintaining safety standards.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience reading welding blueprints and specs is preferred.
• Basic proficiency with MIG welding.
• Willingness to operate and maintain welding equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, manuals and processes.
• Examine welds and ensure they meet standards/specifications.
• Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping machines.
• Determine weldability of materials.
• Operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
• Fabricate or repair metal parts using welding and brazing/soldering machines.
• Start up, monitor and shut down robotic welding line.
• Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding equipment.
• Use CNC machines for precision work.
• Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes as required.
