Job summary

Calhoun Super Structures is seeking a Welder at the Goderich Manufacturing Plant to perform MIG (GMAW) welding of final assemblies using production fixtures in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of MIG welding in production, pass internal weld tests and a CWB 47.1 certification, and be able to read shop drawings and blueprints.

The role requires safety awareness, reliability, and the ability to work overtime when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience with GMAW (MIG) welding in a production environment.
• Ability to read shop drawings and blueprints.
• Capable of setting up workstations and weld fixtures.
• Transferable CWB 47.1 certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Weld parts to specified dimensions and Calhoun quality standards.
• Capable of setting up workstations with associated tools.
• Pass and maintain CWB 47.1 certification as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe welding area and equipment.
