Job description

Position: Welder
Location: Mississauga, ON
Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift Options:
• Morning Shift – 6:00 AM start
• Afternoon Shift – 12:00 PM start
Compensation: $27–$35/hour (based on experience)

Punjabi language fluency is required for effective communication within the team

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MIG welding on steel and aluminum components
• TIG and Stick welding experience considered a strong asset
• Accurately read and interpret welding symbols, blueprints, and fabrication drawings
• Inspect and verify finished welds for dimensional accuracy and strength
• Consistently meet production targets while maintaining quality standards
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and proper PPE use

Qualifications

Minimum 3–5 years of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

Proficient in interpreting blueprints and welding schematics

Experience with welding jigs, fixtures, and power/shop tools

Knowledge of welding safety, PPE protocols, and workplace best practices

TIG and Stick welding skills are beneficial but not required

Strong attention to detail and ability to spot and troubleshoot welding issues
