Job summary

CACEIS Montreal is seeking an Operations Officer – IMS to support the middle office for OTC derivatives processing and reconciliation. You will work in a collaborative environment within asset servicing and interact with the dealing room, back office, and custodians.

Ideal candidates have relevant securities knowledge and hands-on experience in middle office operations, trade management, or trade clearing, with a proactive approach to reconciliation and client reporting.

Qualifications

• Ideally 6+ months of financial services experience within middle office / trade management / trade clearing / working with OTC derivatives.
• Securities knowledge from CSC or banking industry experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Understand OTC products and integrate transactions in the Middle Office application.
• Reconcile OTC cleared transactions with Clearing brokers.
• Handle reconciliation of Middle Office positions and monitor posting to Clients’ accounts.
• Monitor confirmations and reports to Clients and trigger instructions to Custodians.
