The Embassy in Vancouver is seeking a Mid Lighting Artist to light, render, and perform moderate-level compositing on our live-action, animation, and visual effects projects. You will work under supervision and contribute to shots from initial lighting through to final quality, ensuring consistency with project direction.

The Embassy is a Canadian, Oscar-nominated production house, specializing in live-action production, post-production, and animation for feature films, television, and commercials. We are an independent creative studio with expertise in visual effects and production. Located in the heart of Vancouver's Digital District, we work with global production companies, agencies and brands in film, television and advertising.

The Lighting Artist can independently light, render, and do moderate-level compositing of very complex shots, needing only initial direction and guidance from their supervisors. They are good communicators who can give and receive feedback and apply it to their work. They will accomplish project-specific tasks and be responsible for maintaining a high-level overview of the status and quality of their progress. They possess strong expert knowledge of lighting skills needed to accomplish the task.
