Duties and responsibilities

1. Draft, review, and refine key real estate documents, including leases, deeds, and purchase agreements.
2. Represent clients in transactions and negotiations. Explain documents to the clients.
3. Advise clients on legal issues involving property management, zoning compliance, and property tax obligations.
4. Partner with real estate agents and other experts to ensure every project meets legal standards and regulations.
5. Manage workflow and mentor Law Clerks.
6. Keep clients informed on case developments and guide them through their legal rights and obligations.

Requirements and skills

• A licensed member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
• 3+ years of experience in Real Estate Law.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality client service.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a passion to grow.
