Real Estate Lawyer – Vaughan

Job description

Our client is a fast-growing boutique firm based in Vaughan. They are currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Lawyer to join their experienced team.

Your new role

In this new role you will be responsible for handling all aspects of Real Estate transactions. You will supervise and assist junior and senior law clerks handling a high volume of residential and refinance, purchase, and sale transactions. You will also review agreements of purchase and sale, new build contracts, status certificates, and loan documents. Additionally, you will liaise with clients, counsel, financial institutions, title insurance companies, and land registry offices.

What you will need to succeed

To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of 3 years’ Real Estate experience and be a member in good standing with the Law Society of a Canadian jurisdiction. You should be able to work well under pressure, manage priorities, and meet deadlines. Strong teamwork skills, trustworthiness, accountability, proactivity, and a positive work attitude are essential. Additionally, strong written communication skills are required.
