Job summary

WBM Technologies Inc is seeking a Microsoft Licensing Specialist to join our Microsoft Solutions team. Based across Western Canada, you will work with clients to review licensing, recommend CSP/NCE options, and guide Azure optimization in a consultative role.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in Microsoft licensing, cloud solutions, technology consulting, software sales support, customer success, or a related role.
  • Exposure to Microsoft 365 licensing, CSP, NCE, Azure, or cloud technologies.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to explain technical or licensing concepts in a simple, understandable way.

WBM is looking for a Microsoft Licensing Consultant to join our growing Microsoft Solutions team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who already has experience working with Microsoft licensing, Microsoft 365, Azure, CSP programs, or cloud solutions and is ready to take the next step in their career.

You’ll work alongside experienced sales, technical, and Microsoft specialists while supporting organizations across Western Canada in maximizing the value of their Microsoft investments. You’ll gain exposure to licensing strategy, Azure optimization, client advisory, and digital transformation initiatives while building expertise that is highly sought after across the Microsoft ecosystem.

What You Will Do
Microsoft Licensing Strategy & Advisory
  • Support clients with Microsoft licensing reviews and discussions.
  • Assist with Microsoft 365, CSP, and NCE licensing recommendations.
  • Help clients understand licensing options and optimization opportunities.
  • Participate in licensing renewals, transitions, and modernization initiatives.
  • Research and communicate Microsoft licensing changes and program updates.
Azure Growth & Optimization
  • Support Azure licensing and consumption discussions.
  • Participate in client conversations around Azure optimization and governance.
  • Assist in identifying Azure growth opportunities within our client base.
  • Learn how organizations leverage Azure to improve performance, security, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cloud architects and technical specialists on client initiatives.
Sales & Client Enablement
  • Partner with Account Managers and Client Managers to support Microsoft opportunities.
  • Participate in strategic client discussions and executive conversations.
  • Provide guidance on licensing proposals, recommendations, and business cases.
  • Enable internal teams through training, coaching, and Microsoft licensing expertise.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for both clients and WBM team members.
Professional Development
  • Develop expertise in Microsoft licensing programs, including CSP and NCE.
  • Expand your Azure knowledge and certification pathway.
  • Participate in Microsoft training and partner development programs.
  • Work alongside experienced specialists and architects.
  • Build the foundation for a long-term career within Microsoft’s ecosystem.
