JLR Ottawa is seeking a Microsoft Cloud Platform Administrator to join our IT & Workplaces group. You’ll lead administration across Microsoft 365 and Azure at scale for diverse clients, focusing on security, identity, and collaboration services.

As part of a tight-knit, mentorship-focused team, you’ll automate tasks, provide technical leadership, and support strategic IT initiatives while delivering world-class cloud solutions that support community growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise IT, including 5+ years hands-on admin of Microsoft 365 and Azure at scale.
• Skilled across Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint/OneDrive, Teams, Intune, and Microsoft 365 security & compliance stack with core Azure administration.
• Collaborative team player with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administering and securing Microsoft 365 services including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Intune.
• Managing identity/access, authentication, device management, licensing, and tenant administration across the Microsoft cloud ecosystem.
• Supporting cybersecurity and compliance initiatives using Defender, Purview, Conditional Access, MFA, DLP, eDiscovery, and related tools.
• Administering Azure resources, including subscriptions, VMs, storage, networking, backup, monitoring, and cost management.
• Leading governance and ongoing administration of Microsoft 365 Copilot and other AI-enabled services.
• Automating administration, reporting, and provisioning using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, and related automation tools.
• Serving as a subject-matter expert, providing technical leadership, mentorship, documentation, and support for strategic IT initiatives.
• Collaborating with the IT team to deliver secure, reliable, and exceptional technology services across the organization.
