Job description

Gravity Union is excited to be on the lookout for our newest Microsoft 365 Business Analyst. We’re seeking a curious and capable individual to join our team and help shape the future of workplace collaboration. This is a full-time (40 hours/week), permanent position primarily onsite at our downtown Vancouver office. The expected salary ranges from $65,000 to $85,000, based on experience and skillset.

About the opportunity

A Gravity Union Microsoft 365 SharePoint Analyst works closely with clients to gather requirements, design, configure, and maintain Microsoft 365 SharePoint and Records Management solutions.

Your day-to-day includes :

• Advising clients on best practices and solutions during their digital transformation, leveraging empathy, change management, and technical expertise
• Managing client expectations based on project requirements and scope
• Working on SharePoint/Teams collaboration portals, employee portals, Power Platform, and records management projects
• Providing services including requirements gathering, content audits, prototyping, content migration, go-live support, and training
• Planning project workflows, conducting Microsoft 365 best practice sessions, and supporting project governance
• Managing projects with established methodologies to ensure timely delivery
• Staying current with relevant technologies and sharing findings with the team
• Pursuing relevant Microsoft certifications
• Participating in internal initiatives and sharing lessons learned

Are you the one?

• 1-5+ years of experience with SharePoint and ECM projects, in consulting or in-house roles
• Experience with Power Platform (PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate)
• Experience with records management, Microsoft Purview, Collabware/Collabspace preferred
• Experience leading discovery sessions and writing specifications
• MS-700 Teams Administrator Associate certification
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Enjoy engaging with people and solving business challenges
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Empathy, growth mindset, and excellent communication skills
• Ability to have fun!

Icing on the cake

• Experience with SharePoint 2019, 2016, 2013
• Knowledge of Purview and AI tools like Copilot, Graph API, Viva Topics
• Experience in compliance-heavy environments
• Additional Microsoft or relevant certifications
• Bilingual in English and French
