A leading healthcare organization seeks an MRI Technologist to join their multidisciplinary team in Victoria, ensuring quality patient-centered care through advanced MRI techniques. The ideal candidate will hold accreditation in Magnetic Resonance and have a solid history of working in acute settings, with essential problem-solving and communication skills required.

Under general supervision, and reporting to the MRI supervisor or designate, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team providing client-centered care, the MRI Technologist performs Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) special procedures. Duties include receiving and completing requisitions, forms and reports; preparing and monitoring supplies and equipment; patient monitoring; and operating acquisition equipment, including archiving acquired images, and computerized patient data systems.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Training And ExperienceGraduation from an accredited Magnetic Resonance program and designation as a certified Technologist in Magnetic Resonance (RTMR) with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT). Three (3) years recent, related experience, including two (2) years MRI experience in an acute setting; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
