A leading health authority is seeking an MRI Technologist to join their multidisciplinary team. The role involves performing specialized MRI procedures and ensuring patient safety and care quality. Qualified candidates will have completed an accredited Magnetic Resonance program and hold relevant certifications, with multiple years of experience preferred.

Under general supervision, and reporting to the MRI supervisor or designate, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team providing client-centered care, the MRI Technologist performs Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) special procedures. Duties include receiving and completing requisitions, forms and reports; preparing and monitoring supplies and equipment; patient monitoring; and operating acquisition equipment, including archiving acquired images, and computerized patient data systems.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Training And ExperienceGraduation from an accredited Magnetic Resonance program and designation as a certified Technologist in Magnetic Resonance (RTMR) with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT). Three (3) years recent, related experience, including two (2) years MRI experience in an acute setting; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
