Job summary

Lineage Logistics in Montreal, QC is seeking an MHE Technician to inspect, maintain, diagnose, and repair powered industrial trucks (PITs) including forklifts and battery systems to ensure safe, reliable warehouse operations.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot complex issues, and document work in the CMMS. A valid Quebec Class 5 license and strong technical skills are required, with on-call rotations included.

Qualifications

Experience maintaining electric powered industrial trucks (forklifts) or similar equipment.
Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
Ability to read service manuals and technical documentation.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Valid Class 5 Quebec Driver's Licence.
Experience using CMMS or equivalent maintenance software.
Welding or fabrication experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on electric PITs.
Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, steering, braking, and control system failures.
Repair motors, hydraulic components, mast assemblies, lift chains, wheels, tires, electrical systems, sensors, and safety devices.
Inspect, maintain, and repair lead-acid and lithium-ion battery systems and chargers.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and on-call service calls as scheduled.
Document inspections, repairs, labor, and parts usage in the CMMS.
Assist with maintenance of additional warehouse equipment as the program expands.
