Job summary

Manulift in Canada is seeking a Road Service Technician to service Merlo telescopic equipment for a growing client base. You will diagnose repairs over the phone and on-site, explain findings to non-mechanics, and plan maintenance.

The role requires a heavy equipment mechanics diploma, 2+ years' experience, and strong hydraulics/electrical knowledge. You will order parts, document service activities, and collaborate with the team. A valid driver's license is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in mechanics (heavy equipment).
• 2+ years as road technician or heavy equipment mechanic.
• Strong hydraulics, electrical and electronic knowledge.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Good work ethic, meticulous, independent.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose repairs over the phone and on-site.
• Explain diagnoses to non-mechanics.
• Plan and manage repairs and scheduled maintenance.
• Complete service documents clearly and on time.
• Order parts required for repairs and maintenance.
• Follow warranty procedures and credits.
• Promote Manulift values to clients.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
